Encaustic is a type of wax that, when painted on the surface of a photo or collage, imparts an ethereal quality. I usually make these on wood blocks with painted or gold-leafed sides. These are currently available, though if you have a favorite photo, I’ll be happy to drip some waxy goodness on it.
Prices for 6×6-inch images are $70 unframed, 4 for $250 and $90 framed, 4 for $300.
Price for a 12×12-inch image is $250
